Do Booking or cancelling tickets for Special Trains via Post Office
Passengers who are travelling to return to their hometowns in the special trains can now book or cancel their tickets at the post office too. The facility was made available by the Indian Railways with effect from May 22 to make it easier for passengers to book or cancel tickets for special trains.
The ticket booking or cancellation facility can also be done through Yatri Ticket Suvidha Kendra (YTSK) licensees and the authorised agents of the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC). For special trains, passengers can also book through the Indian Railways’ Passenger Reservation System (PRS) counters in railway premises or reservation centres as also at Common Service Centres.
