Honor 9X to run on Kirin 810 processor, offer triple rear camera setup: Report
Huawei’s sub-brand Honor is working on launching the successor to its Honor 8X smartphone — allegedly called the Honor 9X. Not only that, a Pro variant of the same handset is also expected to be launched along with it. Recently, a tipster by the name of rodent950 had posted the specs of Honor 9X Pro and now he has posted the specs of the Honor 9X on Twitter.
As per his tweet, the Honor 9X is said to offer an LCD screen which will be somewhere between 6.5-inch to 6.7-inch. It is claimed to house a triple rear camera setup comprising a 24MP primary lens, an 8MP super-wide angle lens and a 2MP depth sensor.
On the front, the device is likely to sport a 20MP camera on the front. Said to be backed by a 3750mAh battery, it is claimed to offer support for a 10W charger as well. In terms of processor, it is claimed to be backed by Huawei’s Kirin 810 processor — which is a new processor from the Chinese tech giant.
The processor made its debut last week with the launch of Huawei Nova 5. This processor is based on a 7nm manufacturing process and includes two 2.27GHz Cortex-A76 cores and six 1.88Ghz Cortex-A55 cores.
As for the Honor 9X Pro, it is claimed to offer a quad-rear camera setup that will include 48MP primary sensor, 8MP super-wide angle sensor, 2MP macro sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. Said to be backed by a 4000mAh battery, it is claimed to support 20W fast charging.
There is no word from Honor about either of the two handsets.
